Weekend Plans

By Polly | November 5, 2005

It’s Friday! What are your plans for the weekend? For those families living in the north, you may want to take advantage of the last few days of nice weather and spend it outdoors. Raking leaves (and yes that also means jumping into them)is a great family activity that helps get the work done too. Remember, family time doesn’t have to be any planned expensive outing. Hanging out at home is perfectly acceptable. Just don’t spend it glued to the TV….

Chicken Little is another option for families this weekend. The Disney marketing executives of done a good job of making sure the kids know it’s out, so if they haven’t already, your kids will be asking soon to go see the movie. To learn more about this movie read the movie reviews at Common Sense Media and Yahoo’s Movie Mom Review.

If science is more your thing, then the Grossology Exhibit might be for you. It is currently on exhibit at the Denver Museum of Nature Science.
