Gardening Fun

Grow a Bean Teepee - Purchase about six 8 foot poles at your local garden center or hardware store. Arrange them in a circle leaving a small hole for the opening. Bury each pole about 3 - 6? in the dirt and tie them together at the top with some twine. Plant pole beans around the outside and within a couple of months your teepee should be fully covered.
Start a Worm Farm - Admittedly this doesn’t sound like much fun for the parents, but kids will love it and gain a great education at the same time. Also, if you are a family that likes to fish, you have bait readily available.
Start a Wildflower Garden - This is an easy one because you can find wildflower mixes at your local garden store. All you need to do is find a sunny spot in your yard and just spread the mix. Make sure they get plenty of water and you will have a beautiful wildflower garden in a couple of months.
