Things to Think About for July

By Polly | July 4, 2006

Taking a vacation this summer? Now is the time to start thinking about all the things you need to pack and do before leaving. Just start writing them down as they come to you during your day or use a vacation checklist to get you started.

Enter our Jumping July Giveaway to earn a chance to win a free Bucket Blast Game from Hearthsong.

Do your kids need updated vaccinations or their annual check up before heading back to school? Now is the time to schedule the appointment with the doctor. Want to minimize your wait? Ask for the first appointment right after lunch. Many doctors are caught up by then and usually will get you in on time.

If your kids are developing a case of the summer blues, start thinking about some creative summer boredom buster ideas to keep them busy.

Does your family calendar need updated for the upcoming school year? Now is the time to start thinking about a new one.

Remember to schedule your family time this month. Schedule it as often as works for your family, but just schedule it! Read through our family night ideas and local area activity section for more suggestions.
