Raves, Craves, and Not So Faves - Let’s Get Ready for Kindergarten
By Polly | September 17, 2007
This week’s rave is the book Let’s Get Ready for Kindergarten by Linda Desimowich and Stacey Kannenberg. Filled with 32 pages of everything a preschooler should know either before entering kindergarten or during, it is the perfect addition to any preschool class, kindergarten room or family’s library. It has bright vibrant colors and illustrations to catch a child’s attention and covers the alphabet, counting, rhyming, time, calendars, sight words, telephone numbers, addresses, and much more. And to top it off, it has dry erase pages for kids to practice the skills they have learned.
It is perfect for waits in the doctor’s office or long car rides and is a definite must for any parent wanting to make sure their child is prepared for school.
For older children, there is also a Let’s Get Ready for First Grade edition as well.
