Tips for Successful Family Outings
Planning a family outing this month? Here are some quick tips to help keep your family on track and make memories you want to remember rather than forget…
Pick an early weekend in the month. Crowds are typically smaller the first weekend in October. The closer to Halloween the larger the crowds.
Try and plan your arrival for when the event begins or place opens. This helps get a jumpstart on the crowds and gives you a chance to get organized and oriented to the surroundings.
Print off all maps and directions the night before.
If the place you are going has a website, check for coupons. Places will often offer a printable coupon on line.
Pack your survival bag the night before. Be sure to include your camera, extra batteries for the camera, snacks, diapers, and sunscreen. If you need a stroller pack this in the car the night before as well.
