Fresh Starts for Your Family’s New Year

The start of a new year is one of my favorite times of the year. In part because I am a typical Type A that loves taking on new challenges, projects, and changes but more importantly because it gives me a good chance to become a better mother, wife, and friend. The New Year lets me mentally and emotionally shed baggage, struggles, and worries and make a fresh start in my attitude, routines, and habits.
So to help myself and you make fresh starts we are beginning a new series called 31 Days of Fresh Starts for Your Family. Throughout the month of January we will be posting a new fresh start idea. Each fresh start idea is designed to encourage families to make changes in their lives and work toward becoming a better family. Whether your struggles are with parenting, communicating, clutter, or time all families have some area of their lives that need changes, improvements, and fresh starts.
Each Fresh Start idea will be posted on our blog, on our Facebook page, and on Twitter. We will also recap them in our all new bi-weekly newsletter. Here are the details on how you can read each Fresh Start idea.
1. Subscribe to our blog either via the RSS feed or by Email.
2. Become a fan on our Facebook page and look for the Fresh Start ideas on your Facebook home page.
3. Follow us on twitter using the hash tag #freshstarts
One thing to keep in mind, is that the 31 Days of Fresh Starts for Your Family series is meant to inspire and encourage you rather than overwhelm you. Some of the fresh start ideas may not apply to your family or be a priority at this time. That is okay! Just use the ideas to help you make meaningful changes in your life that are relevant and needed. Focus on the ones that are truly needed rather than trying to do them all.
Good luck!
